How do I go about collecting my fabrics?
Kenaus™ "Originals" are jeans made of old jeans, specifically your old jeans. Jeans that you love and can't bear to part with, jeans you can't wear anymore but sit in the bottom of your wardrobe, jeans that no longer fit but remind you of someone or somewhere. You will find you have more than one pair that make you have that 'back in the day' feeling. It maybe that you have a shirt or two that would look great in the remake of your old jeans, any fabrics or clothing can be used to enhance your Kenaus™. We will take those hard to part with items of clothing and rework them into one new pair of jeans.
What do I need for one pair of Kenaus™?
A minimum of three pairs of jeans and other items of clothing with colours that you like the combination of. We can only make a new pair from what you send, so if you send five pairs of black jeans you will get one pair of black jeans back unless you request our designers to add random colours or fabrics. Select your favourite jeans and put them in a heap to see what goes together well and is to your taste. If one pair is better than the rest make sure you label them and tell the designer you want more of that than the others.
How do I get the right size?
When you order your Kenaus™ we will send you a pack with a measuring tape and form to fill in. The size will be dependent on your own recorded measurements. If you have a 'perfect fit' pair of jeans that can be incorporated in the Kenaus™ it will help greatly to optimise your comfort. You will be asked about style and description on the form but also be given the opportunity to speak to the designer by phone or email dialogue. The better the communication the better the product; we are aware that these items are your memories and cutting them to be reworked will be treated with the utmost respect.
How will I get my memorabilia to Kenaus.com?
In the pack sent to you there will be a self addressed post bag that has the capacity to take 3 pairs of jeans, if you want to send more we will give you more bags. You pay the postage to Kenaus.com (based in mainland UK) and we will pay for the return. To save customer costs we can discuss cutting some items before posting for example if there is a T shirt with a club logo on it that can be cut out and sent and not the whole T shirt. Communication is essential!
What if I don't like my Kenaus™?
To date we have had no complaints however there is always a risk when the customer surrenders their favourite clothes to be cut up and reintegrated into something new; it may cut to the bone. Kenaus TM .Com cannot replace your memorabilia however we can adjust the newly constructed clothing to make them appeal and represents the dream pair. No extra charge will be made to give customer satisfaction in the reliving of your memories.
